Well, the new update is expected to bring some change in design and along with it, the new version of Gmail will also feature a Confidential Mode. Basically, the Confidential Mode will bring self-destructing emails, among other privacy-focused changes. As reported by the TechCrunch, the new Confidential Mode will allow users to send self-destructing emails and can be set to prevent a recipient from forwarding, download or copying the email content. So, it’s indeed a great feature which we couldn’t wait to have it in our Gmail. The new version of Gmail will show a lock icon in the compose box. The lock icon will activate the confidential mode. Here users can set the expiration date for the email after which it would be deleted. By default, the Confidential Mode on Gmail will stop emails from being copied, forwarded or printed. However, screenshots can still be taken, On the recipient’s side, Gmail will show the content of confidential emails as a link.
