While every weapon type has a representative, there are some sub weapons and specials that you will not be able to use in the demo. In terms of sub weapons, there isn’t a weapon that has Burst Bombs or Point Sensors. There also isn’t a weapon that has the Tenta Missile or Ink Storm specials so those will be missing when you hit up the splatfest. Players are likely excited to start using the Splatana Wiper or the Tri-Stringer as they are some new weapon types for Splatoon 3. The Splatana Wiper is a close-range melee weapon with some versatility that will allow it to land some shots at a distance while the Tri-Stringer is a bow that shoots exploding arrows that chip away at the enemy’s defense. Additionally, there are a good number of new specials that players will be able to test out for the first time. The Crab Tank, Ink Vac, Reef Slider, Tacticooler, and Zipcaster have been highlighted throughout Splatoon 3’s marketing, but there are also specials returning from Splatoon 1 that should interest players. Killer Wail 5.1 and Trizooka are notable returners that have been reduxed for the new game. With 26 playable weapons in Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere, there is going to be plenty of variety during the event. What weapon are you going to choose?
